Playing around with the idea of brick work in Manchester in mind and focusing in on detail of bricks to create patterns using various medias such as ink, dye, bleach and pen.
Playing around with the prints of the fabric after they have been dyed and working into them to created interesting effects:
These two in particular remind me of the 'map of Manchester idea' and i used pen do draw into the first one which i think works really well.
Here are some ink dyed papers. I added dyed fabric to one and embellished it with staples and drew into the second one to make it seem brick-like.
