This is one of Josie's dissolvable fabric pieces that I photographed as it was sprayed with warm water. We also took some film footage of this. It really reminded me of the Gunther von Hagens body world work that we have looked at for inspiration earlier on in the project. Once the piece is fully dissolved I think it looks really good and quite a lot like protruding veins which is very interesting. If we were to develop this piece it could be something on the inside of a garment made out of dissolvable fabric and as we spray it with water these threads and machine stitches could become visible.
