I remembered this artist from one of our very first talks and was really awestruck by the delicate and beautiful nature of her pieces. What I think we could take from this is maybe trying out some plaster and mod rock casting this week of clothing but also of the body. I also think it could be an idea to try and source some really amazing pieces from charity and vintage shops that we could modify to fit our project? Maybe it's about making small and intricate changes to the pieces we find collaboratively on the inside and maybe even out by dyeing, cutting, sewing and fixing. It may be that we need to concentrate on a stronger theme maybe get more personal with things and people around Manchester by looking deeper into the history etc.
